Spring's Blessings

Spring's Blessings Part-II......

The spring has blessed my garden with lots of flowers, which, during the winters were dormant. As I already described, many of my plants bloomed during this time, posting all the pics in the previous post would have made the post rather too long for anyone's liking. Hence, I decided to post the pics in separate posts. So, here we go with some more pics to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Some Ghazania flowers, which, I planted this winter, for the first time.

Since, I love photography, many of my posts, like this one, have photographs of same flowers or plants, taken from different angles. Would you believe that all these flowers are from the same plant? As the flower gets older, its colour gets lighter, so, the darkest one, is the newest bloom, while the lightest one is the oldest.
Last november, I got a packet of Ghazania (Ghazania Rigens aka Ghazania Splendens) seeds, in all, the packet had only ten seeds, out of which, only six germinated and out of those six, four of the plants are in the same pot. And till now, I have got blooms of different colours from these four plants - dark red (this one), pink, yellow and white. I'm waiting for the other two to bloom.

There are some more, including my regulars roses (red and orange), and my rangoon creeper vine, which has started blooming lately, which, I'll be posting in the next post, soon. Till then, enjoy, and happy gardening.
