Summer's On
It's mid May, and
here, in this part of the world, we have started experiencing scorching heat.
Plants and their blooms have gone into hiding. At the onset of summers, I got
some summer plant seeds including the Tom Thumb variety of Balsam, Celosia
Plumosa, Vinca and Zinnia. I did sow Zinnia seeds, but, couldn't gather the
courage to sow the remaining seeds as summers had finally set in, and it
appeared to me that it won't be possible for a majority of the seedlings to
survive in the climatic conditions we are experiencing here.
I did sow the Zinnia
seeds and the plants rapidly grew and developed. My zinnia plants are blooming
now. Fortunately enough, the packet of seeds I bought had seeds of mixed zinnia
variety, and fairly enough three of my zinnia plants that have bloomed bore
flowers of different colours and shapes. Here are some of my Zinnia blooms.

Now a days, a lot of
moss roses and my hibiscus plant are blooming profusely. I will post some
images from these plants soon. Till then, keep visiting and HAPPY GARDENING.
Lovely captures at night in low light..........
