Dahlias - Ah so beautiful

Dahlias - Ah so beautiful

As promised in the last post, this time, I'm posting some beautiful dahlias which are currently blooming in my rooftop garden. I bought these plants a couple of weeks back. Though I went on to get some compost, the beautiful blooms caught my attention, and I decided to go and checkout the plants. The colours and the patterns that these dahlia blooms had, lured me to get all of them, back home, but then I restricted my sentiments and settled down with just two of them. I zeroed in on the red and the yellow ones. Both the plants had buds that helped me decide the colours. I didn't get the already blooming plants because that would have meant lesser blooms after getting the plant back home.

The yellow dahlia bloom. I didn't bloom completely, and I expect it to still bloom fully
The plants seem to have settled down in the new environment in the pots, and new buds are appearing, promising me some great blooms in the coming days. I especially liked the red one. The yellow one hasn't been able to impress me that much as the red one, but still, promises are there. I will be back with a new gardening topic in my next post. Till then keep visiting and HAPPY GARDENING!
