Lilies have always been plants that have amazed me a lot. The beautiful varieties, colours and patterns that these beautiful plants come in have always mesmerised me. And so, I have been trying to set my hands on more and more lily plants and different varieties from anywhere I could find them. On my last visit to the plants nursery, I found some beautiful white and big bulbs, which, on inquiring from the owner, I was told were “lilium” bulbs. I referred to them as lily, however he insisted those to be “lilium” that bloom in winter, while lilies bloomed in summer.
Anyhow, after my tryst with the nursery owner, I settled down with a couple of bulbs of orange and white lily, some gladiolus bulbs, and one more packet of some beautiful looking flower bulbs. The lilies that appear to me to be of the Asiatic Lily variety have since been growing pretty well, with two of the four bulbs have grown big and are now bearing flower buds, which, should ideally be blooming in a couple of days, while the other two have shown some stunted growth, but are bearing buds anyhow, so I am hopeful for them to show me good flowers in the coming days.

I
understand in the past couple of months I have been quite un-professional with
the way I am handling my blog, and doing the blogposts. This time, I will not
be saying if I would be posting the next blogpost in the next week, however
will, from now on, try to keep updating my blog as frequently as I can to keep
the updates coming through.
Gardening is the best hobby in the world. It gives lot of happiness to watch the plant grow. I have my own plant growin the backyard. Thank you for the article.
