Lily Blooms

From the last post with the lilies still developing, I've had them blooming full scale, for each one blooming for almost two to three days, adding a bright spot of colour to my otherwise dull garden with nothing else blooming at that time. The marigolds are not ready, nor any of the winter seasonals, the roses had been trimmed down and anyway this was not their season at all, so, I had a bright orange part in my otherwise dull garden with these beautiful huge orange flowers in small plants showing their bloom show for almost a week.
The easiest thing about these lilies was the time and the amount of work it took for them to bloom. It was just around 40-45 days when I had bought those white coloured bulbs and had sown them in the soil, eagerly waiting for them to come up with their first ever leaves and it wasn't too far away from there that the small plants bore tiny buds, which eventually grew and came up as those big and beautiful flowers.

I still haven't been able to see the white blooms, which supposedly the other two bulbs were to bear. The plants didn't grow very well. I'm hoping that I will be able to see the white ones. Maybe, I will also be able to share them with you in the coming months.
